A few days ago, two adorable donkeys—Gaspard and Pot-de-colle—joined the grounds of l’Hermitage.
Thanks to them, certain areas are maintained naturally, without the routine use of motorized machinery. This eco-friendly approach helps reduce our environmental footprint, preserve biodiversity, and promote nature-conscious land management.
Beyond their role as eco-grazers, our two companions add a touch of charm and warmth to the property. We hope their presence offers our guests a delightful moment of discovery and relaxation during their stay!
L’Hermitage is the cradle of the Marist Brothers. The Marist Brothers are dedicated to God and Jesus’ followers in Mary’s way. Their main vocation is turned to teaching and serve the youth as their founder Marcellin Champagnat used to do.
