The House and the World
The House of Notre-Dame de l’Hermitage is the “mother house” of the Marists, where Marcellin Champagnat created and developed the Community of Marist Brothers.
But since then the Marists are present in 80 countries on 5 continents.
This represents nearly 2,660 Brothers, 7,200 lay people and 654,000 children and young people.
For more information on the Marist world, the institute, the missions, do not hesitate to consult the Marist Champagnat website.
During the stay of young people from Sacred Heart College we were lucky enough to be able to attend the famous New Zealand haka, which refers to a set of Maori cultural ceremonies including dances, songs and weapons exhibitions.
